# Get folder info

`GET /folder.info`

## Description

Get one folder by ID: name, item count, creation time, and — for Personal
access — the caller's role.

Use [`folder.contents`](/docs/api/folder-contents) for the meetings and
Magicasts filed in it, and [`folder.members`](/docs/api/folder-members)
for who can see it.

**Access:** Organization and Personal. Personal tokens can read a folder
only when the token owner is a member. Organization tokens can read every
folder in the account; `role` is omitted. A folder the caller cannot see
returns `404` `folder_not_found`, including a folder in another account
and a folder a personal token's owner does not belong to.

**Required scope:** `folders:read`

### 400 - Bad request. Missing or invalid `id`.

### 401 - Presented invalid authentication credentials.

### 403 - Token is missing `folders:read`.

### 404 - Folder not found, or not visible to the caller (`folder_not_found`).

### 405 - An unsupported method was requested.

### 500 - An internal error occurred.
